Cameron Robert Paul White, B.A.
Cam is a man with family values. Born into a family of 4 boys, Cam's oilfield family moved around 4 times before settling in Grande Prairie when he was in grade 6. An honours student and multiple award winning St. Joseph Catholic High School graduate (2003), Cam went on to play baseball in North Dakota, California, and Kansas where he was awarded California all-conference honours and attained his bachelors degree majoring in english.
After university, Cam moved back to Grande Prairie to re-connect with his family and start his life back in Canada. GPRC student, head of sales for Paragon Performance Training, environment health and safety manager for Norwest Construction, and for a time, artistic director of the Showcase Centre, led Cameron down the path of becoming a business owner.
Cameron spent a month meeting homeless in Nashville and later travelled to Cannes, France for his 2016 international award winning short film, 'Bohemian Blood'. Most recently cam toured Canada from Victoria to Halifax and back with his debut album, 'Quick Fix'. Cameron was a founding board member of PRIMAA (Peace Region Independent Media Arts Association) and has worked with the young men of the community for Jeannie Vanwynsberghe Pernal and the National award winning GP Boys Choir.
Cameron is a focussed, hard working, and accomplished team player with an open mind for new ideas. He is passionate, reliable and ready to take on the challenge of representing the people of Grande Prairie.
